Hypoparathyroidism

The production of hormone less than normal it is caused due to the removal of the gland which is in turn due to the removal of the thyroid gland. Malignancy causes the removal of the gland. In some cases the person has no parathyroid gland congenitally. Due to any disease hypoplasia occurs.
Symptoms of hypoparathyroidism:
·         Respiratory obstruction due to paresthesia
·         Abnormality in excretory system due to paresthesia (loss of sensation) which increase urea and creatinine leading to renal failure.
·         Tetany (Jerky, shaky movement of muscle)
